Types of Manuscript

Qaumiyyah: Jurnal Hukum Tata Negara considers original scholarly articles within Islamic constitutional law, constitutional law, state administration, and governance, as defined in its Focus and Scope.

Research and analytical articles

Submissions may develop doctrinal or normative legal analysis; empirical and socio-legal research, including fieldwork; or comparative, historical, and theoretical inquiry. These approaches must address a clearly formulated research problem, explain the sources and analytical method used, engage critically with relevant scholarship, and present an original contribution supported by evidence and reasoned argument. A descriptive compilation of legal provisions without a substantive analytical contribution is insufficient.

Articles may be written in Indonesian or English and must comply with the existing Author Guidelines and journal template. The same requirements of originality, accurate attribution, and research integrity apply to all approaches. Submissions must not be under consideration elsewhere or reproduce previously published work without appropriate disclosure and editorial justification.

Scholarly responses to articles already published in the journal are handled under the Post-Publication Discussion policy.
