Post-Publication Discussion

Qaumiyyah: Jurnal Hukum Tata Negara welcomes reasoned scholarly discussion of its published articles. Continuing scrutiny can clarify legal interpretation, test arguments, identify overlooked sources, and improve the reliability of the scholarly record. A difference in legal or theoretical interpretation does not, by itself, establish an error or misconduct.

How to contribute

Send a letter to the editor through the official editorial contact, identifying the article title, DOI or URL, the specific point being discussed, and supporting references or evidence. Contributors should provide their name and affiliation and disclose relevant competing interests. Comments must address the scholarship in courteous, precise language. Personal attacks, unsupported allegations, and repetitive or irrelevant material are unsuitable for scholarly discussion.

Editorial handling

The editor assesses relevance and substance and may seek independent advice. The original authors are normally invited to respond. A substantiated critique may proceed even if the authors decline to respond. Where publication is warranted, the journal publishes the discussion and any author response with clear links to the original article, subject to editorial assessment. The journal uses editorially managed correspondence rather than requiring an unmoderated public comment facility.

Reports of serious error or suspected misconduct are assessed under Allegation of Research Misconduct and Correction and Retraction. A discussion does not silently replace or amend the published article.
